Hi again...

In my last mail, I managed to reduce htmerge's memory consumption to
about half, from 34.2 MB to 17.5 MB on my system. I took a closer look
at it, and it's now 0.8 MB (yes, that's 800 KB).


(Did I hear someone speaking about the benefits of 
automatic garbage collection? :-)

Ok, now the consumption is only 2.3% of the original. If
someone who has had memory problems with HTDig could try
these patches, I would know if it's worth going after the
remaining leaks... :-)
